ART - Collections, Catalogs, Exhibitions (General)

Sort By: Products per Page:
By Donia Gobar
The Invisibles, a unique collection of poetry and artwork, is a creation in which the style of written words and brush strokes takes the reader into an amazing and brave world, where the magical dawns and exotic twilights of the East and West intertwine; where days and nights seek each other in the fantastic voyage of life.

Each poem is a previously untold story from the world of the invisible, whose voices we may not hear and whose faces we may not see; whose pain we may not feel and whose languages we may not understand; and whose heroism we may not notice. These are the innocent and noble human beings that are pressured by social injustice, caught in the crossfire of mindless and violent powers.

This book includes 19 prints of original paintings. These paintings reflect some of the artist's thoughts and perceptions throughout a stormy life across the continents.

This handbook is a valuable manual for both scholars of works of art with musical subjects and those who need a system to catalog art collections. The authors wanted to save others the time and effort of devising a workable cataloging system for their own collections. They also hoped that by making a ready-made system available, it would promote the standardization of cataloging and the cooperation of scholars working in the field. Their system for collecting pictures and retrieving information is flexible and clear and of great value to art collectors.
