In the present time, a significant part of the establishments of the educational branch are financed from the budget. The population consumes these services free-of-charge. The national deputies, say that the expenses allocated from the budget for the educated of the people, create a hole in the budget. How can we explain such certainty of the national deputies? Still, the productive activity of the educational branches is not examined in the theory. In the branches of «education» there are the following streams of resources: - 1) a stream of resources as means of labor books, computers etc. ? - the stream estimated economically;
- 2) a stream of manpower - workers in the branches of «Education» - the stream estimated economically;
- 3) a stream of financial resources;
- 4) a stream of visitors is not considered an economic resource and is not estimated economically.
For this reason, the education services are badly taken into account in the productive part of the executive branch of authority. The executive branch of authority should be taken into account in the results of not only receipts from the taxes, but also of the educational services which it creates. In this book the author investigates the educational services in a three-dimensional space. In the extended variant of the calculations of the result of the economical activities of executive branch of authority (taking into account educational services), every goes into its proper place.

Studies suggest that when students are taught a structured note-taking strategy, engagement, reading comprehension and retention increase. Teach your students this systematic note-taking process and witness the difference it makes in your students’ understanding of non-fiction text and their abilities to navigate it. Students will enjoy the high interest, adolescent friendly articles (with Spanish translations) and the ‘scaffolded’ forms provide the assistance students need to master this powerful content area strategy. This is one tool your students must have in their comprehension repertoire.

By George Coussoulos
Who knows the teacher that students will find when the door to their classroom closes? We all hope for an all-star, but too often find an entrenched minor leaguer. Behind Closed Doors is a first book by an author with a background of 26 years as a public school teacher and principal. It explores the author's rude awakening, when a second career caused him to question whether he had accomplished anything at all during his years as an educator. George Coussoulos questions the methodologies and content of much that is called education. He takes the reader through his varied experiences, and illustrates that much of what we thought we have accomplished in our schools has been an illusion. He provides concrete suggestions for changing the art and science of teaching. Mr. Coussoulos views what teachers do in their schools as the key to effective changes in education-not what is prescribed by legislatures nor by multiple-choice standardized tests. The author offers a life of experiences for the consideration of educators seeking to explore the possibilities of improving what occurs in the autonomy of their own classrooms.

More by necessity than by design I worked as a substitute teacher for several years. Only in the last two years did I learn how to do it. I developed a system that is effective in controlling classroom behavior in this sometimes difficult situation. I elaborate on it in detail. If you are a substitute teacher, or planning to be one, this booklet will be helpful.

F MEANS FLOUNDERING aims at traditional and non-traditional (returning adult) students beginning college with little idea of what a student must do. Professor Swanson grew from nearly flunking out of his first semester in college to graduating from college; eventually earning a master's and a doctorate as well as becoming a college professor. Becoming a more efficient and effective student is built on seven essential components: know (1) where you are going, (2) what's going on in the classroom, (3) how to listen and what to listen for, (4) how to learn, (5) how to prepare for tests, (6) how to take tests, and (7) how to use your time efficiently. Most how-to-study books overlook the importance of listening in the classroom. Simply saying, "Listen carefully," or "Pay attention," is not enough for most students. When students listen effectively, they can learn what they need to know and what is going to be on the test. Students who get better grades are not smarter; they listen better. Knowing what you're doing as a student makes school much easier. Dr. Swanson always told his classes, "If I could learn to get better grades, almost anyone can."
