The Richest Family in the World is the fictional tale of the Goodwins, a hard-working, God-fearing family whose deep spirituality serves them well, especially during times of crisis. Like many families around the world, the Goodwins rely on their faith in God to guide them through their many adventures. John and Sarah Goodwin, a farming couple with eight children, have been happily married for forty-two years. All eight children helped work the farm when they were younger; however, much to their father's disappointment, as adults, they have no interest in taking over the family business. As a result, John and Sarah Goodwin must face the biggest heartbreak of their lives-losing the farm. Another tragedy strikes the family when Sarah travels to visit the brother she never knew existed and is critically injured in a plane crash. The richest family in the world is the family that loves, respects, and helps one another, especially through controversy and difficult times. Through the roller coaster adventures of the Goodwins, The Richest Family in the World demonstrates that there are no perfect families-just families who share the faith that, through it all, they will survive and hope and love will prevail.

"Stupid" Seymour Klotz was a disenfranchised young individual. After all, in science lab, he mistakenly invented a substance that glued a visiting foreign dignitary's hand to his ass. And he was persuaded to rent a suit, for an hour, to a funeral parlor that needed the garment for a naked stiff. It was evident that the "gene pool" was sufficiently the culprit. Claude, his father, who was a shop steward in a nose hair clipper factory, was riddled with dysfunctional roadblocks. For example, Claude tried to return a toy male doll that had embarassing large genitalia. Also, he paid for expensive root canal for his boss' howling dog and was charged $100 for a TV service call, where the technician needed only to plug the set into the wall outlet. Through some strange law of physics, things changed suddenly. Parlaying monies earned from selling his dirty underwear, having a unique flavor, to an enterprising caterer, turning it into underwear soup, Seymour gained great wealth. He reversed the constant advice from his parking attendant associate, Bump, who had the uncanny knack of always being wrong. His mind was eventually analyzed at the University of Pennsylvania to study how a person could alway be in error.

ON EARTH'S REMOTEST BOUNDS is the story of the far-frontier bastion called Fort Atkinson, built on the Council Bluff made famous by the Indian parley held with Lewis and Clark there in 1804. It is a saga of a fledgling, struggling nation with a most tenuous toehold on a massive territory. The fort faces threats from Indians, British, and nature itself. It is a fascinating and brutal time little chronicled, falling between the Revolution and the main westward expansion, when American attitudes, character, and policies were being shaped. It is filled with names of heroes like Riley and Leavenworth, the friends and relatives of Lewis and Clark, famed explorers like Long and Kearney, and folklore figures like Jim Bridger, Mike Fink, and Hugh Glass. Year One:BLOOD and WATER chronicles the first year of the thousand-man expedition as it battles hundreds of miles up the wild Missouri on primitive steamboats and keels to reach the bluff and build its first fort. Here the exhausted men must survive a winter plagued by severe weather, food shortages, a scurvy epidemic felling hundreds, and a devastating flood. They hang on by courage and sheer doggedness to begin a new fortress atop the high Council Bluff.

P>Come and meet the Meyer family as seen through the eyes of its youngest member, Anne. The seven year old is overwhelmed by the arrival of "Zaidy", which is the Jewish word for grandfather. Their relationship is bumpy at first, but evolves into a deep and loving one, as Zaidy becomes mentor, companion, and sometimes, target! Their neighborhood is peopled with richly drawn characters which include Dainty Jean Valentine, the slovenly teenager, Martha, the retarded child, ever dominant Aunt Bess, and of course, Jacqueline, Anne's best friend. Set within the World War II era, Anne's immediate family feels the impact of war on the daily lives of an average American family: rationing, paper drives, and the death of young men from the community. Most of all, the Meyers are family. They feel it strongly, and so will you. The Meyer family's door is almost always open, and you are invited in.

'No man is good,' if this statement is true and I believe it is, being that our Lord Jesus Christ spoke it, we all must be measured by our struggle to be good. But trying to be good is determined differently by each individual's interpretation. So we have God's law and we have man's law to guide us in this struggle and man made laws are enforced by men who, have that same struggle within them. This book is about those men who enforce those laws and how they interpret between what is good and what is evil. This is the continuing story of Jake O'Malley; a Mobile police officer that follows no rules and has his on ideas about race, religion and gender. Right or wrong; he will have an answer. Shadow of Rage is the second in a trilogy that follows this officer and the people that surround him. This book, like the first, is not about the plot; the plot is merely an avenue for my characters to travel, their relationship with their environment and how they pursue it for their own means. You either hate O'Malley or love him, there is no fence walking in this man's life.
